How the Q2 Dual DJ works

Q2 Dual DJ Tech Spec

It’s a simple concept. 2 DJs want to DJ together, at the same time. Before the Q2 Dual DJ, the only methods were using headphone splitters or linking 2 mixers. For a lot of DJ booths, setting up 2 mixers is impractical and expensive and ultimately it doesn’t give u a perfect setup as one DJ has to use the “master mixer”. Using a headphone splitter allows you to use 2 sets of headphones, but it means you’re listening to what each other are doing all the time. For those creative DJs who don’t want to just mix 2 tracks together, using a headphone splitter makes DJing to at this level near impossible.

That’s where the Q2 Dual DJ fits in nicely. A clever little box designed to link between the sources (i.e. CD players, laptops, etc) and the mixer. It allows 1 DJ to use headphones in the mixer as normal and the second DJ plugs their headphones in to the Q2 Dual DJ. This arrangement allows both DJs to independently cue separate sources at the same time. One DJ can be lining up the next track, which the other DJ is dropping acapellas and EFX.

The Q2 Dual DJ completely revolutionizes multiple DJ acts allowing a more creative and cleverly pieced set resulting in DJ sets becoming live shows of artists able to remix on the fly.
